2016 VBS Mission Project Information
Granville Ecumenical VSB partnered with Pelotonia!
Founded in Columbus, Pelotonia is a 3-day experience that includes cycling, entertainment and volunteerism.
Pelotonia raises millions of dollars each year for cancer research.
100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to fund research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC – James).
During the week of VBS, our children learned about the ride from a local doctor.
Children brought in (new) books, magazines, and journals to give to children undergoing treatment at OSUCCC – James.
We also collected coins to help raise funds for Pelotonia.
Wow—one week helped to show children how to work in collaboration for ONE GOAL.
